Bandipur National Park, located in Karnataka, is a stunning forested reserve spanning 874 square kilometres on the Deccan Plateau and Western Ghats.
Established in 1974 as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger, it protects numerous endangered species, including tigers, Indian elephants, leopards, and gaur.
